This is the story of me, Sa, who on my 42nd birthday received my first white coat at Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, started medical school and pledged to become a physician. It is about what it is like to tear up your life and leave again and again to pursue a dream. It’s the story of a woman who often thinks, “what would Buffy do?” . I am a yoga loving, dog loving, beautiful, former chef, former sales person, former tutor and current immunology – o – phile who tries to love the intertwining snail track of life and how it all connects. Yeah baby, it's real alright.
After one of the best hugs I can remember from you, you are not here or nearby or even on this continent any more. Tonight with my coat zipped to the top, I looked into the evening sky with an almost full moon and thought about you on your new Granadian beach and wondered how your new sky might appear to you.
I'm blogging myself for the first time. I learned more about you and loved the middle of the night posting.
